Cedar River Smokehouse is located in the heart of downtown Renton. Since the opening of our restaurant in 2000, we have gained considerable notoriety as a terrific lunch & dinner spot for individuals working in Renton and the surrounding areas. We pride ourselves on providing traditional as well as non-traditional Texas Style Barbecue. We offer a warm and friendly atmosphere to our number one concern... our customers!

Delicious BBQ! We've been trying to find a local bbq joint that we really like for awhile and this place is great! Delicious brisquet and pulled pork sandwiches. The fries are always hot and full of flavor like the Mac n cheese and coleslaw. Great food! We'll be back!

Good beef ribs are a bit harder to find and my fav when I do eat beef are big, juicy, tasty ribs, 3 checks here. Sides are good, salad bar and there are often new things on the menu to try. I like the way the owner interacts with customers and brings his test kitchen stuff out on the floor for customers to sample. Really nice guy! Good place for desert too. Large variety of ice cream & desserts to satisfy that sweet tooth, they even make milk shakes.

Was there for lunch today, this was our 3rd time 2 yrs.We would go there more often but seems like a long ways to travel.This place is really top notch! I always go for the beef ribs, just meaty and outstanding!Had Mash Potatoes and gravy and a salad from self serve salad bar.all salad fixing we fresh and tasty!Wife had Brisket sandwich and Mac and cheese side!The owner talked with us for about 10 min. and asked about Food Quality? Nice owner and help there are courteous and friendly!Would recommend to anyone that likes Texas style BBQ

Awesome atmosphere as soon as you walk in the door. Food was amazing and the mud pie for dessert just put everything over the top. Been going for years, but tonight's experience inspired me to leave the review they have always had from me. They rock!

The baked beans recipe has changed. We used to love them but they're not as good anymore. Everything else is super good!

This right here is easily in the top 3 BBQ places in the entire region. I tend to believe that this place has the best barbecue. Because they have beef ribs. Which not a lot of places carry. And this place does it right. They had some new owners by the place a couple years back. And it's really gone uphill since then. The food is all excellent. amazing

Great brisket and ribs. Sides are good too. Customer service has improved greatlyThe person bringing out our meals was extremely helpful and on top of everything. She anticipated everything we needed before we asked. This place has gotten better over the years.

This is the only place I sometimes have trouble eating the entire three meat plate. They have juicy beef ribs, excellent turkey, well smoked pork, and a good sauce. The brisket isn't great. If you want great brisket, go to Jack's BBQ. Otherwise, if you want a great deal of some very good BBQ, go here.

It's good! The ribs were moist and brisket wasn't terribly dry. I don't care for their bbq sauce though.

Horrible customer service. They ran out of something I ordered and substituted it with something instead of calling. I reached out to them to see if there was anything I could do and the person I spoke to was rude and hung up on me. The food is good but the service is lacking.

Awesome ribs! I'm talking melt in your mouth! My husband had beef brisket and he loved that as well juicy flavorful. Everything was very great!

My wife and I had some barbecue from a newly-opened place near our home in Federal Way just one week prior and were not completely satisfied. So to make up for that unsatisfactory experience my wife brought home ribs chicken beans and slaw from Cedar River Smokehouse and it was the best tasting barbecue from a restaurant that I've ever tasted. A spicy Tangy sauce and perfectly cooked meat, and the beans were great too. I can't wait to have more from them.

Staff is very welcoming and inviting. Glad I stopped in , got the brisket, chicken and ribs. Can’t wait to come back! Their jalapeño cheddar sausage links are absolutely delicious as well
